Monument of blood solidarity
A tribute to blood donors, especially the ones from Sant Hilari Sacalm. The monument was designed by D. S. León and it was inaugurated on the 7th October 2017, on the occasion of the Blood Donation Marathon.
The author of this monument, David Sánchez León, defined the monument like this:
“This monument is a tribute to blood donors, especially the ones from Sant Hilari Sacalm. Four beech trunks with four human figures like four blood bars, as a symbol of our insignia, raise towards the sky all together through a white thread, symbolising the union and solidarity of the Catalan society”.
