La roca d’en Pla (Pla’s rock)
Les Guilleries, as a good witches’ land, has several legends that refer to them. This is one of them, which brings together witches and Sant Joan’s eve.
The legend of La roca d’en Pla says that every year, on the night before Sant Joan (Saint John, on 24th June), a breach opens.
Out of this breach come all the witches, who make the most of the night to do evil by going around the place to Matagalls. Once the night is over, they return to their hideout until the following year.
