Mas Cal Sastre

It is a rural tourism business located in the country house named Cal Sastre. There are references of this house from the 14th century as an independent cabin from the Solterra castle, in the municipal area of Sant Hilari, in the heart of Les Guilleries.

Lots of time, lots of stones, lots of illusions… and they, the sharecroppers, one of the many families who have lived here, made it theirs, they have remodelled it with the respect it deserves, in an artisanal way, using ecological and autochthonous materials from the area and recovering ancient (almost forgotten) construction methods.

It is an austere house, as the country houses in these areas have always been, but with a very marked personality. They have restored the dignity of a big house, filling it with unique details that make it different and cosy. As kind and welcoming is the treatment you will receive when you visit them, since this has always been the true essence of the country houses: to be a place to live for some, and a host location for others, where you can share table talks, experiences, feelings… all in all, bits of life, a haven of peace.

In the house, you will find 7 private bedrooms with bathroom and some of them with a fireplace, all of them decorated with special charm, respecting the structural characteristics of the country house ancient rooms, and giving each one its own personality, suitable and comfortable, which will make your stay an unforgettable moment. All this combined with the large living room, with its antique furniture, and the small entrance hall, tastefully decorated, and the open dining room with large windows, ensure that your stay in the house does not leave you indifferent. And even more after relaxing in our spa area with sauna and Jacuzzi, or in our saltwater pool.

And for the most adventurous, we have a wooden cabin outside with all the independent accommodation services, to enjoy relaxation and romance in a cosy, warm and unique space.

They have double, triple and quadruple bedrooms, bedrooms with fireplace, common rooms, tourist information service, Spa, sauna and bicycle parking. We serve dinners made with homemade and local products.
